At The Sensory Shop we understand that sensory experience is an important part of early childhood development. Not only this, but that children differ in their ability to process and respond to information from the environment while engaging in their daily activities. Our desire, and ultimately our purpose, is to make the everyday activities just that little bit easier by catering for children struggling with sensory difficulties or Autism.

After recognizing the growing needs and demands for our children that “march to the beat of their own drum”, our dedicated and passionate team at The Sensory Shop set out to provide easily accessible tools and aids to help make these daily activities more manageable. In doing this we hope that we can provide support to therapists, parents, teachers and children throughout South Africa and bring our much-loved items, not only into schools and therapy rooms but into homes too.
